Maybe this is Phase 1 of Cass Sunstein's plan to "cognitively infiltrate" the social networks that promote conspiracy theories and correct their "crippled epistemologies"--but I thought this US government website on conspiracy theories was quite interesting and well worth a visit. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's been much recent activity there.
