The Conspiracist Take on the Arizona Shooting

Damien DeBarra of Blather.net has been sending me some interesting links related to the Arizona shooting. This one from the Southern Poverty Law Center provides essential background for civilians who aren't versed in the subtleties of Patriot and Constitutionalist theory. It includes a link to a Chip Berlet post about the "second American Constitution"; Loughner's enigmatic phrase “mind control on the people by controlling grammar" is parsed with a reference to the bizarre theories of David Wynn Miller.Coincidentally, I have been reading Leonard Zeskind's Blood and Politics: The History of the White Nationalist Movement from the Margins to the Mainstream, which provides much more detail on the second American Constitution. According to the racialist theories of the Posse Commitatus and Christian Identity movements, the "We the People" of the Constitution's preamble refers to "white people" (since a black person, according to the Dred Scott Decision, "is not a citizen within the meaning of the Constitution.") The Fourteenth Amendment, which is illegitimate because the southern states were occupied when it was ratified, not only created a special class of citizens (black people), who receive their rights through the state, but a new constitutional regime. A sovereign white citizen, whose rights come from God, can "asseverate" his ties to that illicit regime by disposing of his driver's license, social security card, etc.Damien also pointed me to this post on Infowars, "Top US Federal Judge Assassinated After Threat To Obama Agenda," which argues that Judge Roll was the real target of the shooting. "Interesting to note about the assassination of Judge Roll is that it is being blamed on a 'lone gunman' said to be mentally unstable (aren’t they all)."PS There is chatter on Stormfront about Loughner, as well as his victim, being half Jewish: "You know about his book list," Psychosword opines, "he strikes me as someone who just likes to pretend he has read and understood a lot of important sounding books. I don't really read into his book choices beyond that. He himself called others illiterate and thinks he is smarter than everyone else. This is a typical trait of a psychotic jew, that they think they are smarter than everyone else." Christopher Jon Bjerknes at the Jewish Racism Blogspot posts a mini dissertation, "Loughner Meets Zeno Meets the Talmud." "It is interesting that Loughner's views mirror Jewish mysticism and that he is a gold bug," he concludes. "The Jews believe that we are now at the end of time, and like Loughner, that the world will end in violence. The Jews also want to burn America."
